Selected frames

One eye.
Different subjects.

I look for the point where a person, an object or a place stops explaining itself and starts holding your attention.

How I work

The subject changes.
The attention does not.

My camera moves between people, products, streets and unfamiliar places. I keep the process direct and let the strongest frame do the talking.

01 / Portrait

Portrait

Character first. A frame that feels considered without posing the life out of it.

Never pose the life out of it.

MF / 003
02 / Product

Product

Shape, texture and context brought into the same clear visual language.

Never separate shape from context.

MF / 004
03 / Street

Street

Real movement, chance encounters and the split second that cannot be staged twice.

Never stage the split second twice.

MF / 006
04 / Travel

Travel

Places photographed for atmosphere and scale—not just the landmark everyone already knows.

Never stop at the landmark.

Behind the frame

Monsieur Flamand is where the work takes the lead.

I collect the finished photography here, while the wider notebook lives on Reemster. For a portrait-focused archive, I also shoot with Chicks & Nuggets.
